How much does web design cost in New Orleans?
Nubinity scopes each website as a defined project and quotes it in writing after discovery, because the honest answer depends on page count, content readiness, integrations, and whether an application sits behind the site. The consulting rate the estimate is built from is published: $98 per hour. Running costs are published too — hosting from $9.99 per month, domains from $15 per year, SSL from $35. Be sceptical of any flat website price quoted before anyone has asked what the site has to do.
Do you host the website you build?
Yes, and it is the main reason to build with us rather than an agency. Nubinity operates its own network (AS400941) and runs cPanel hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, and business email. One team designed the site and one team keeps it online, so an expired certificate or a broken contact form is not a question of whose fault it is.
Can you redesign our existing website?
Yes. A redesign starts by assessing what is there: content, traffic and what it does, current platform, performance, integrations, email and DNS dependencies, and the constraints you have to live with. Sometimes the finding is that the structure and content need work and the visual design is fine — we will tell you that rather than sell a rebuild.
Do you build web applications, or only websites?
Both. Application work covers UX, architecture, custom development, integrations, and testing. Where a project needs the problem defined before the solution, facilitated design-thinking workshops are available as a separate engagement.
Who owns the site when it is finished?
You do. Documentation is part of handover, and the domain is registered to your business. If you keep the site on Nubinity hosting we manage it; if you move it elsewhere later, you take it with you.
Do you work with businesses outside New Orleans?
Design and development are delivered remotely nationwide. What is local is the option to sit in a room for discovery and stakeholder sessions, which is where most of the value in that stage gets created — across New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, the Northshore, and the River Parishes.
