Tools bought, never operated
Licenses don't stop attacks; operations do. The gap between 'we have a firewall' and 'someone maintains our firewall policy as things change' is where incidents happen — managed delivery closes it.
Managed security · New Orleans
Managed security means the controls protecting your business are somebody's actual job — deployed, watched, tuned, and answered for. Nubinity delivers managed security solutions for New Orleans organizations as one accountable engagement: endpoint protection with anti-ransomware, Hydra managed firewall and single sign-on, periodic assessment and penetration testing, and a defined escalation path when something needs action. Headquartered in the city since 2019, on our own network.
Why this matters here
Licenses don't stop attacks; operations do. The gap between 'we have a firewall' and 'someone maintains our firewall policy as things change' is where incidents happen — managed delivery closes it.
A full-time security hire is out of reach for most local businesses, and a fractional one is hard to find. Managed security buys the discipline without the headcount.
Insurance questionnaires, client security reviews, and framework requirements (MFA, EDR, testing) tend to arrive together. One managed engagement stands up the controls and produces the documentation.

How it works
Assess current controls, identities, devices, and exposure; agree what managed security covers and what stays with you — in writing.
Roll out endpoint, firewall, and SSO coverage in controlled groups, with the escalation path documented before go-live.
Operate and tune continuously; review posture periodically; test when it's warranted; adjust as your business changes.

Questions
The core stack is endpoint protection ($16.99/endpoint/month), managed firewall and single sign-on (scoped per environment), and monitoring with a defined escalation path. Assessments, penetration testing, and consulting attach as needed. Every engagement states exactly what's covered — and what isn't.
Nubinity provides managed monitoring and escalation for covered systems as defined in each engagement — we're deliberately specific in writing about coverage hours and response expectations rather than making round-the-clock marketing claims. If you need formally committed response times, that's a signed SLA conversation.
The license is maybe a third of the value. Deployment decisions, policy tuning, alert triage, integration between layers (what happens to a compromised login at the firewall and the endpoint), and documented ownership are what you're actually buying.
The controls carriers ask about — endpoint detection, MFA/SSO, firewall management, periodic testing — map directly onto this stack, and we document what's deployed for your questionnaire. Compliance and coverage decisions remain between you and your carrier.
We review what's in place before recommending anything. Existing firewalls, identity providers, or endpoint tools may be reused; the honest answer is sometimes 'keep it,' and the proposal will say so.
